Key Responsibilities
1. Government Liaison & Regulatory Compliance
Act as the point of contact for Malaysian government agencies (e.g., MIDA, MITI, DBKL, LHDN, KWSP, and Immigration/ESD).
Handle the application, renewal, and tracking of business licenses, permits, and expatriate work visas.
Stay updated on local policy changes to ensure company operations remain fully compliant.
2. Event Management & Budgeting
Lead the planning and execution of corporate events.
Develop comprehensive budget proposals for each project.
3. Financial Record Keeping (Accounts Payable/General Ledger)
Manage daily operational expenses, including petty cash and staff claims.
Ensure systematic filing of invoices, receipts, and supporting documents.
Maintain accurate cash flow records and simple bookkeeping for internal reporting.
4. Administrative Leadership
Oversee day-to-day office operations, facilities management, and vendor negotiations.
Manage procurement of office supplies and maintain an updated asset registry.
5. HR Operations Support
Provide secondary support to the HR department in areas such as payroll data preparation, leave management, and recruitment coordination.
Assist in organizing employee engagement activities.
Key Requirements
Degree or above in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an Admin/HR role with proven experience dealing with Malaysian government bodies.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
Ability to speak Mandarin is a significant advantage for internal communication.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Malaysian Labor Law (Employment Act 1955).
High integrity, meticulous in record-keeping, and a strong problem solver.
