Costing Executive- Sungai Bakap

What you'll be doing
· Analyze Cost - Analyze production cost, manufacturing variances and the cost of sales.
· Develop cost standards - Create cost standards for materials, labour and overhead.
· Prepare reports - Prepare monthly management reports, cost reports and gross profit checks.
· Design cost accounting systems - Create and implement systems for cost accounting.
· Review inventory costing - Review and update standard costs for raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods.
· Perform physical counts - Perform physical stock accounts for year-end-closing and ad hoc counts.
· Lead the costing team - Plan and schedule work to meet deadlines.
· Provide process improvement - Identify ways to improve processes to help management make business decisions.
· Participate in projects - Participate in projects where costing input is required.
· Others - Any ad-hoc costing and inventory related assignment delegated by superior.

What we're looking for
· Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
· Minimum 3 years of experience in a cost accounting or financial analysis role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
· Proficient in using cost accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Knowledge of cost accounting principles, practices, and industry regulations
