Data & AI Engineer

Job Descriptions

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines while building and expanding API integrations to efficiently handle growing data volumes and increasing complexity.

Partner with analytics and business teams to enhance data models that power business intelligence tools, improving data accessibility and promoting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Establish and oversee robust processes and systems to continuously monitor data quality, ensuring production data remains accurate, reliable, and readily available for key stakeholders and critical business operations.

Work closely with frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and analysts while contributing to engineering documentation, writing unit and integration tests, and maintaining an up-to-date engineering wiki.

Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify and resolve data-related issues, while defining and managing company data assets including data models and developing Spark, SparkSQL, and HiveSQL jobs to populate and maintain those models.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience spanning data architecture, information management, software engineering, DevOps, and Agile delivery.

Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, DataStage, Informatica, or SAP DS.

Proficiency in working with databases including Azure SQL, Teradata, DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle.

Solid knowledge and experience in end-to-end project delivery using traditional SDLC, Agile, or hybrid methodologies.

Exceptional communication, documentation, and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across various levels of the organization.

Strong consulting experience, including direct client-facing engagement and managing client relationships.

Familiarity or hands-on experience with analytics tools such as SAS, R, Hadoop, or Hive.

Experience with business intelligence and data visualisation platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
