Data Analytics Engineer

Important note

This role follows the Australian public holiday. You are required to work on Malaysian public holiday and you will be compensated for these days with additional annual leave.

This is full onsite role.

Your working hours are 8.00 am to 5.00 pm

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance and production of periodic dashboards

Maintenance and improvements of daily reporting process

Maintenance and improvements of data warehouse & pipelines

Resolve ad-hoc queries from internal clients in a timely manner

Maintenance of email & CRM platform

Analysis on internal and external data for actionable insights o Identify external data to enrich internal data

Constantly ensure healthy working relationship with stakeholders

Additional tasks assigned by manager from time to time

Requirements

Minimum bachelor's degree/ post graduate diploma in a math related discipline or software development

Minimum 3 years of working experience with data tools (Python, SQL & Microsoft Excel)

Knowledge & Skills

RDBMS using SQL, preferably Postgres & MS SQL Server

Python 3 (mainly packages related to data & APIs)

Bulk email providers i.e. MailChimp

Microsoft Excel & VBA

Demonstrated ability in managing stakeholders and internal clients

Ability to think out of the box for creative solutions

Passion for simplification and automation

Strong problem solving ability and root cause analysis

Self-starter who is able to work independently with minimum supervision
