Job Responsibilities:
Design piping layouts and installation plans for liquid-cooled servers and related cooling equipment (such as cold plate units, immersion cooling units, and pump groups), ensuring proper routing, pressure balance, and sealing standards.
Lead liquid cooling pipeline construction, coordinating teams to complete bracket installation, anti-corrosion treatment, pressure testing, and leak detection in compliance with data center liquid cooling technical specifications (e.g., coolant compatibility, flow rate control).
Participate in planning the installation of data center power and distribution systems (distribution cabinets, UPS, busbars, cable trays) and plumbing systems (cooling water pipelines, fire suppression systems, condensate drainage). Oversee construction quality, check equipment installation compliance (e.g., electrical spacing, waterproofing, fire sealing), and organize testing such as insulation resistance, grounding, and hydrostatic pressure, producing safety reports.
Assist with equipment delivery by connecting liquid cooling pipes to servers, filling coolant, and conducting system commissioning. Troubleshoot issues like leaks or abnormal flow, and work with operations teams to develop emergency response plans (e.g., leak alarms, backup cooling activation).
Prepare technical documentation such as installation manuals for liquid cooling systems, as-built electrical/plumbing drawings, and safety operation procedures. Maintain records of construction, inspections, and change approvals.
Job Requirements:
Liquid Cooling Expertise: Strong understanding of thermal management in data center liquid-cooled servers; skilled in designing, installing, and commissioning immersion and cold plate liquid cooling systems. Familiar with various coolant types (e.g., water-based, fluorinated fluids) and their application requirements.
MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing): Proficient in power systems (380V/220V distribution, cable selection, grounding protection) and plumbing systems (pipe material selection, pressure calculation, corrosion prevention). Able to read electrical schematics and piping isometric drawings.
Tools & Standards: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, EPLAN for technical drawings. Experienced with testing tools like pressure gauges and insulation testers. Familiar with data center design and safety standards (e.g., GB50174, TIA-942, ISO 22301, and relevant power safety codes).
1-2 years of hands-on experience in liquid cooling pipeline installation, MEP engineering, or operations within data centers or large-scale server rooms.
Strong on-site problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to anticipate and manage risks.
