Data Center QA/QC Engineer (Based JB/KL)

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the execution and verification of testing and acceptance activities for overseas data centers. Assist in documentation collection, progress tracking, and quality control of testing projects.
Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Sales and Project Management, as well as external parties including data center providers, general contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors, to ensure testing projects are carried out smoothly and in an organized manner.
Conduct thorough inspection and follow-up on technical issues encountered during testing. Coordinate with vendors to collect, consolidate, and archive test reports and relevant data.

Work Location & Travel:
Based on project needs, travel is expected to range between 30% and 70%, primarily within the Asia-Pacific region.

Maintain strong awareness and application of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols. Promptly report and escalate any EHS issues observed on-site to avoid major incidents.

Scope of Work:
Mainly focused on third-party or leased data center projects, including pre-test inspections, testing schedules, quality assurance, safety compliance, and issue closure management.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering (LV/HV), Mechanical (HVAC), or other MEP-related fields.
At least 2 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in data center projects. Candidates with prior experience in testing and commissioning are highly preferred.

Familiar with verification processes and data center systems (electrical, HVAC, BMS, fire protection), and capable of reviewing test plans, procedures, and reports.

Good understanding of project management aspects such as testing progress, quality, and safety.
Strong awareness and hands-on experience with EHS standards. Prior experience in managing or coordinating testing projects is preferred.

Capable of working under pressure and accepting extended travel periods.

Strong communication and coordination skills, a high level of responsibility, and good judgment.

A proactive learner with a strong sense of team collaboration and ownership.
