Position Overview
We’re looking for a Data Operations & Automation Analyst to support our data and reporting infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, streamlining workflows, and enabling better decision-making across departments.

You will assist in building and maintaining dashboards, automating manual reporting tasks, and supporting system integration planning. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role with exposure to multiple technologies including Power BI, SQL, Excel VBA, Power Automate, and Python scripting. You’ll work alongside data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment that values learning and collaboration.

Job Descriptions:
Power BI Reporting Support involves assisting the data team in gathering reporting requirements from internal stakeholders, helping prepare Power BI dashboards by cleaning data, configuring visuals, applying DAX calculations, and maintaining dashboard documentation, including data sources, transformation logic, and update schedules.

Automation & Workflow Optimization involves collaborating with departments to identify repetitive or manual tasks that can be automated, supporting the design, testing, and implementation of workflows using Power Automate, Excel VBA macros, or Python scripts, and monitoring automation success while suggesting improvements based on usage and feedback.

Database Operations & SQL Scripting involves writing and optimizing SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, and transformation, supporting data validation and debugging tasks for key operational processes, and assisting in maintaining structured datasets for reporting and integration use.

System Integration & Data Mapping involves participating in discussions on ERP and third-party system integrations, helping with mapping fields between internal and external systems to ensure consistency in data flow, and working closely with developers and engineers to align integration logic with business rules and workflows.

Agile Team Participation involves working within sprints to plan and deliver assigned tasks alongside Product Owners and Scrum Masters, documenting progress, collaborating through daily stand-ups, and supporting backlog grooming and refinement.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proficient in SQL (especially with MySQL) for working with relational databases.

Familiar with Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and dashboard formatting.

Comfortable with Excel VBA, macros, and basic scripting (e.g., Python or Power Automate).

Solid understanding of data structures, transformation logic, and reporting workflows.

Strong attention to detail, logical thinking, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is essential.
