Demand Planner (Baking Ingredients Supply)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in developing and implementing a cross-functional materials planning process, including warehouse capacity planning, scheduling, inventory management, and cost optimization through material replenishment planning.

Ensure adherence to materials scheduling strategies and ordering cycles to maintain continuous material supply for production operations at optimum stock levels while controlling costs.

Support the establishment and implementation of MRP and WMS best practices to improve inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control processes.

Work closely with the warehouse team to maintain efficient inventory practices and proper stock management.

Monitor safety stock levels, apply appropriate replenishment strategies, and help prevent aging inventory or major write-offs.

Participate in new business initiatives, projects, and change processes, particularly during material phase-in and phase-out activities.

Collaborate with the procurement team to execute sourcing strategies and ensure timely material availability.

Prepare and update operational reports and metrics, highlighting any issues and recommending corrective action.

Ensure compliance with FSSC, ISO, HACCP, and other relevant international certification requirements in supply chain planning operations.

Build strong communication and teamwork across departments, including Sales and Purchasing, to ensure timely shipment of customer orders.

Contribute to continuous improvement in production planning, product development, and S&OP processes to achieve KPIs and operational excellence.



REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in materials planning, inventory control, or supply chain operations (preferably in manufacturing or the food industry).

Knowledge of MRP, WMS systems, and inventory management best practices.

Familiarity with FSSC, ISO, and HACCP standards is an added advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Possess good command of English and Bahasa, both written & oral.
