Dental Technician

Job Description:-

You will work in one of several areas on the manufacturing line:-

3D Printing

TLC (Thermoform, Laser, CNC trimming)

Polishing

Quality Control

Shipping and Packaging

Trim orthodontic aligners according to Rx/Work Order using high speed bench mounted grinders, hand grinders, CNC machinery and other hand tools.

Responsible for filling materials over dental moulds or setups using brushes and spatulas.

Occasionally help build dental moulds using different prototyping processes.

Maintain equipment at 100% operating efficiency.

Provide and maintain necessary documentation.

Perform required preventive maintenance for tools.

Record daily work and maintain cleanliness of work area.

To carry out other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by the head of department.



Requirements:-

High School diploma or equivalent formal education/training.

Previous experience working on a quality assurance assembly line is a plus.

Ability to learn quickly and perform in a fast paced environment with strong analytical skills.

Must have high ethical standards with attention to detail.

Basic MS Office skills; specifically MS Word and Excel

Previous work experience with dental aligner buffing is a plus.

Ability to read prescriptions or specifications and examine models and impressions to determine the design of dental products to be constructed.

Previous dental industry experience; dental terminology is a plus.

Able to produce appliances (acrylic orthodontic aligners) according to Rx/Work Instruction requirements

Ability to work effectively in a fast paced team environment

High integrity in work product.

Able to work 6 days/ week.
