Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare project quotations (Project Evaluation) for aluminum formwork supply to clients.

Responsible for the preparation of layout drawings (Shell Plans) required for product fabrication.

Review and analyze clients' drawings, identify required drawings, highlight structural issues, and propose improvements for shell design.

Participate in all discussions and site meetings with clients and consultants to resolve drawing-related issues.

Liaise with clients' representatives and subcontractors on all project matters to ensure safe, efficient, and satisfactory project delivery for both the company and the client.

Coordinate with the fabrication team to ensure drawings are clearly understood and executed according to project requirements.

Provide technical support and clarification to site teams during installation and construction phases.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

Proficient in AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software, with the ability to produce detailed aluminum formwork, structural, and shop drawings.

Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and construction drawings.

Familiarity with 3D drawing software and IPM software will be an added advantage.

Preferably with relevant working experience in Civil, Construction, or Structural Engineering projects.

Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience preferred.

Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
