Key responsibilities
• Prepare and wrap dumplings and wontons according to approved recipes, portion standards and operating procedures.
• Handle thawing, storage, labelling and expiry-date control of ingredients correctly.
• Keep preparation areas, tools and equipment clean, organised and ready for service.
• Follow the outlet's halal handling and segregation procedures for food, utensils, equipment and work areas.
• Maintain food-safety and personal-hygiene standards throughout each shift.
• Support dine-in service, order picking, cashiering, takeaway packing, sampling or product promotions when required.
• Carry out other reasonable duties assigned by the outlet manager.
Requirements
• Legally entitled to work in Malaysia.
• Careful, reliable and able to follow recipes and standard operating procedures consistently.
• Good hand coordination and able to perform repetitive food-preparation work while maintaining quality.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays according to the roster.
• Physically able to perform standing, cleaning and food-preparation duties during a shift.
• Holds, or is willing to obtain, the food-handler training/certification and health compliance required for the role.
• Previous kitchen, handmade food or halal F&B experience is an advantage, but training can be provided.
What is offered
• Monthly salary of RM3,000.
• Attendance allowance of RM150 per month, subject to the outlet's attendance policy.
• Meal provided during break
• Two complimentary halal staff meals per working day.
• Practical training in food preparation and outlet operations.
