Electrical and Maintenance Technician

Job Description

1) Carry out inspection, servicing and planned preventative maintenance works in line with departmental programes to a broad range of mechanical and electrical building engineering services

2) Work individually or as part of a team to complete repair and maintenance tasks.

3) Carry out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance tasks as directed, always demonstrating flexibility in relation to tasks allocated, which will be varied and not necessarily of an electrical nature

4) To carry out job with mindset of maintaining 0 safety incident and quality defects at all times

5) Attend mandatory trainings (GMP, HALAL, Safety, HACCP) and other training required for the role.

6) Assist machine operator in troubleshooting major machine downtime issues.

7) Involve in IL6S activities or any continuous improvement activities at the line/plant level.

8) Carry out any job with comply with food quality policies and regulations as per company standards.

9) Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

10) Capable of owning (SME) and operating more than one main equipment to support flow-to-work.

11) Work closely with Production team on site to keep machinery and equipment running smoothly without interruption of production.

12) Participate in SGA activity and being the key members in lean/improvement project.



Job Requirement

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Electrical Engineering or any engineering related field

Candidate must possess Chargeman certificate level AO/A1/A4 issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga or any recognized institution.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia

At least 3 Year(s) and above of working experience in the field. Work in Food Industry before will be added value.

Required Skill(s): Machine troubleshooting skill and ability to understand circuit diagrams

Able to work in shift/normal operation.

Hands-on skill on electrical works in troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing of electrical installations and equipment.

Applicants must be willing to work in Perai Penang.
