Electrical Engineer

Purpose of the Position

We are seeking a capable Electrical Engineer to support the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems for our project in Negeri Sembilan & Pahang. The role involves both technical engineering work and on-site coordination to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and rectification of electrical systems.
- Prepare and develop electrical designs, layouts, schematics, engineering drawings, and technical submissions to local authorities and utility providers.
- Coordinate and liaise with authorities, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project implementation and quality delivery.
- Perform electrical calculations, including load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop analysis, and equipment selection.
- Support troubleshooting, inspection, and basic maintenance activities on site.
- Conduct site inspections and attend project and technical meetings as required.
- Organize and participate in regular progress meetings with consultants and subcontractors; keep management fully informed of progress and issues.
- Identify potential project risks early, manage changes, and escalate issues that may affect schedule or delivery in a timely manner.
- Apply sound project management practices in line with company policies on safety, quality, cost control, and schedule.
Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
