Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Specialist / Expert

The ESG Expert/Senior Specialist is responsible for implementing campus sustainability strategies, programs, and compliance activities related to ISO standards, the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct, and customer requirements. The role also supports ESG financing initiatives such as Sustainability-Linked Loans (SLLs) with IFC and Maybank. By driving strategies like circular economy, decarbonization, and ethical business practices, this position ensures AT&S meets its ESG commitments and long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities (tasks)

Campus Sustainability Strategies and Programs:

Play a pivotal role in advancing sustainable and responsible business practices within organisations and contribute to all relevant ESG programs in Kulim, Malaysia.

ESG Standards and Integrated Management Systems:

Ensure the effective implementation and continual improvement of internationally recognized ESG-related standards and integrated management systems.

Supplier & Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaboration with Corporate Sustainability Networks and other relevant departments with all ESG-related activities in Kulim, Malaysia.

Campus Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Program:

Continual improvement of our energy performance and the carbon footprint across our operations.

ESG non-financial and other reporting:

Deliver accurate ESG performance data for corporate oversight and continuous improvement.
