Executive / Senior Executive – Motor Claims, Theft Section



Assist in handling, assessing, and recommending settlements for Theft and Theft Recovery claims from HQ and branches, in accordance with company policies, Claims Service Standards, and BNM’s Guidelines on Claims Settlement Practices.



The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Handle claims to ensure fast, fair service and maintain the Company’s good reputation.

Check claim registrations and adjustments to make sure data is accurate and reserves are set correctly.

Review documents, assess claims, and recommend settlements.

Follow up on outstanding claims regularly (at least once a year) to keep reserves accurate and reduce the number of pending claims.

Inform your supervisor or HOD about any policy issues or unusual claim trends for further action.

Attend and inspect recovered vehicles received from authorities, agents, or workshops.



Job Specification:

Degree in any related discipline.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Motor Claims, with specific experience in handling Theft and Theft Recovery claims cases is an added advantage.

Fresh graduate with internship experience in general insurance / claims may apply.

Must be able to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervision.

Able to communicate with all levels.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Team player.

Self-motivated.

Well-organized.
