Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in design college degree in fashion design or related field.
-2+ years design experience.
-Availability to travel for research and product development.
-Ability to do sketches by hand.
-Excellent design and conceptual skills.
-Understand the modest wear to suit the Malaysian culture.
-Excellent sense of style and color.
-Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
-Priority for fashion designer who can design muslimah clothes

Skills
-Superior knowledge of fashion design principles
-Excellent creativity with a good sense of fashion and style
-In-depth knowledge of garment technology
-Ability to create, cut and sew-up patterns
-Proficiency in computer-aided fashion design applications & digital

visualization tools
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job responsibilities
-Researching current fashion trends and determining what consumers will like knowledge to creating aesthetically pleasing and functional pieces.
-Work closely with a design team and strong communication skills.
-Collaborating with the design team to develop ideas for new products based on research data
-Designing sketches for new products with a design team
-Creating clothing patterns for mass production
-Testing and deciding on fabrics, colors, patterns and textures for each design
-Overseeing the production of designs, including carrying out fittings, determining prices and managing marketing.
-Maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers and models.
-Knowledge in producing concepts and can making sketches by hand or on the computer.
-Analyzing trends in fabrics, colors and shapes and skills in terms to determine prices for styles.
-Identify target markets for designs, looking at factors such as Age, Gender, and socioeconomic status.
-Do research the styles and periods of clothing needed for productions.
-Sketch rough and detailed drawings of apparel or accessories, and write specifications such as color schemes, construction, material types, and accessory requirements.
-Collaborate with other designers to coordinate special products and designs.
