Finance & Accounts Executive (FMCG Food Industry)

- The Finance & Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic decision-making in a fast-paced FMCG food environment.
- This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.

Accounts Management:
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and vendor payments.

Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in preparing budgets, monitoring variances, and supporting cost control initiatives.

Inventory Accounting:
- Track raw materials, finished goods, and wastage to ensure accurate valuation.

Taxation & Compliance:
- Ensure timely filing of GST, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements.

Audit Support:
- Liaise with external auditors and ensure proper documentation for internal and statutory audits.

Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor daily cash flow, banking transactions, and working capital requirements.

Systems:
- Maintain financial records using accounting software and ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in FMCG, preferably in the food sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in Auto Count systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
