Responsibilities
Manage daily banking activities, including deposits, fund transfers, and reconciliations.
Liaise and coordinate with banks on trade facilities such as Letters of Credit (LCs), Telegraphic Transfers (TTs), bank guarantees, and loan arrangements.
Prepare, submit, and track documentation for trade facilities, loan drawdowns, and related applications.
Maintain accurate and updated records of all banking and facility transactions in the accounting system.
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, intercompany transactions, deposits, payments, and settlements.
Manage financing and cash flow, including reimbursement reviews and accounting processing.
Assist in month-end closing, financial reporting, and cash flow management for the division.
Monitor facility utilization and support financial forecasting and analysis.
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Conduct cost analysis, variance reporting, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Participate in financial statement analysis and provide improvement proposals.
Track and manage infrastructure project accounting.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and banking/tax regulations.
Collaborate with internal departments, external auditors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth financial processes.
Support audit, evaluation, and financial planning tasks as assigned by management.
Liaise with China HQ regarding financial reporting and related matters.
Requirements
Language: Fluent in Mandarin (written & spoken) to communicate with China counterpart ; basic proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance (manufacturing or trade finance preferred).
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and banking procedures.
Proficient in financial/accounting systems (e.g., E10, OA, Fangdee, Excel) and Microsoft Office.
Good understanding of cost analysis principles; electronic manufacturing experience is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
High integrity, strong ethics, and attention to detail.
Able to maintain strict confidentiality of financial information.
Professional demeanor with good moral character.
Willing to learn and detail-oriented.
