Full-Stack Engineer - STR Platform

About the role
We’re hiring a full-stack engineer to own features end-to-end on a production TypeScript web platform. You’ll ship product UI, APIs, database changes, and background systems in a monorepo used by internal users day to day.

What you’ll work on
● Product features across the React app and Hono backend (UI → API → DB)
● Workflow-heavy product surfaces — multi-step forms, review/approval flows, dashboards, and detail views
● Backend services — REST APIs, auth, audit logging, and typed request/response contracts
● PostgreSQL — schema design, numbered migrations, Drizzle ORM, relational modeling
● Platform systems — external API connectors, cron jobs, scheduled feeds, Docker-based local/prod stacks
● Keeping the codebase strict, small, and readable (typed TypeScript, focused modules, no shortcuts)
Stack
● Web: React, Vite, TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, React Router, Recharts
● API: Node.js, Hono, TypeScript, node-cron, Playwright
● Data: PostgreSQL, Drizzle ORM, SQL migrations
● Infra: Docker Compose, nginx

What we’re looking for:
Must-have
● 4+ years professional software engineering experience
● Strong TypeScript. Comfortable with strict typing.
● Production experience with React (Vite or similar SPA tooling; Next.js experience transfers)
● Solid Postgres / SQL skills; comfortable owning schema and migrations
● Comfortable with Docker and Docker Compose for local and production multi-service stacks
● Comfort building and debugging async work (jobs, cron, external APIs, retries)
● Ability to own a feature from schema → backend → UI without heavy hand-holding
● Clear written communication; can turn a product plan into a clean implementation

Strong plus
● Experience with internal tools, multi-step workflows, or review/approval UIs
● Auth, audit logs, and secure error-handling patterns for production apps
● Integrating third-party APIs (pagination, rate limits, webhooks)
● Habit of writing small, single-responsibility modules and keeping PRs focused
