Key Responsibilities:
Operational & Mining Management:
Oversee the overall day-to-day operations of site activities, including mining, crushing, screening, stockpile management, and transportation logistics.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor production schedules to ensure operational targets and delivery commitments are achieved efficiently.
Monitor equipment utilisation, maintenance schedules, fuel consumption, and operational efficiency to minimise downtime and operational costs.
Liaise with government authorities, consultants, suppliers, and stakeholders on mining operational matters and regulatory compliance.
Prepare operational reports, production analysis, and performance evaluations for management review.
Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, cost efficiency, and profitability.
Accounting, Finance & Administrative Management:
Oversee the company’s accounting and financial reporting.
Monitor operational expenditures, cost controls, and financial performance to ensure profitability and sustainable business operations.
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax agents, bankers, and financial institutions on financial and statutory matters.
Review and approve payment schedules, supplier claims, payroll, operational expenses, and procurement documentation.
Manage banking facilities, trade financing, banker acceptance (BA), working capital requirements, and financing applications.
Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records, supporting documents, and internal control procedures.
Monitor debtor collections, creditor payments, and overall financial health of the company.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, taxation regulations, and corporate governance standards.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance/Business Administration/Professional Certification (ACCA)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial or leadership position.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, MYOB) and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
