Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Iconic Marjorie Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio property, is seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to join our dynamic team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. As the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and reporting for our hotel group (Iconic Marjorie Hotel, Iconic Regency Service Residences and Iconic Hotel Penang), playing a crucial role in supporting our strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

Manage the overall financial accounting and reporting for the hotel group

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts

Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations

Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, as well as cash management

Collaborate with departmental heads to analyse financial data and provide strategic insights

Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

Partner with the leadership team to support the group's growth and expansion plans
