Halal Executive

About the role

The Halal Executive will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity of the hotel’s Halal certification and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and operational standards. This full-time role will be based at AnCasa Hotel Kuala Lumpur, requires a proactive individual with strong technical knowledge and the ability to drive awareness and best practices across departments.


What you'll be doing

Oversee full compliance with Halal standards in line with JAKIM requirements across all F&B operations

Developing and implementing Halal-compliant policies and procedures across our hospitality and tourism businesses

Conducting regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with Halal standards

Implement and maintain the Halal Assurance System (HAS) and related SOPs

Monitor and align operations with HACCP and food safety standards

Manage Halal certification processes, including application, renewal, and documentation

Drive staff training and awareness programmes on Halal compliance and hygiene practices. Providing guidance to our operational teams on Halal best practices

Liaising with regulatory authorities and Halal certification bodies to ensure our operations remain up-to-date with industry requirements

Conducting market research and analysis to identify emerging Halal trends and opportunities

Ensure all suppliers, ingredients, and procurement processes meet Halal requirements

Prepare reports and recommend improvements to strengthen compliance and operational efficiency



What we're looking for

Diploma or Degree in Halal Management, Hospitality Food Science or related field

Certification as a Halal Executive (recognized by JAKIM or relevant authority)

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in hospitality or F&B operations

Strong understanding of Halal certification standards, HAS, and food safety systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented, disciplined, and compliance-driven
