Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring
Work closely with department heads on manpower planning and staffing needs
Prepare and update job descriptions and post vacancies on job portals
Coordinate interviews and manage candidate experience
Conduct reference checks and prepare employment offers
Handle onboarding process including documentation, orientation, and system setup
2. Payroll & Compensation
Process monthly payroll accurately and on time (salary, OT, allowances, deductions)
Ensure statutory compliance: EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB submissions
Maintain payroll records and prepare payroll-related reports
Handle employee claims, reimbursements, and benefits administration
3. Training & Development (L&D)
Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads
Coordinate and administer internal and external training programs
Manage onboarding training and orientation for new employees
Maintain training records and monitor training effectiveness
Support development of training materials, SOPs, and HR policies
4. HR Generalist Functions
Maintain employee records, HR systems, and documentation
Manage full employee lifecycle: confirmation, promotion, transfer, resignation, and exit
Administer leave, attendance, and disciplinary records
Assist in implementation and communication of HR policies and SOPs
5. Compliance & Employee Relations
Ensure compliance with Malaysian Employment Act and company policies
Support disciplinary actions, investigations, and proper documentation
Assist in internal and external audits
Handle employee grievances and provide HR advisory support
6. Administration & Office Management
Oversee office administration, facilities, and maintenance
Coordinate company events, meetings, and engagement activities
Support workspace planning and office logistics
7. Reporting & Process Improvement
Prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover, recruitment, payroll, training)
Identify and implement improvements in HR and administrative processes
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field
2–5 years of experience in HR generalist role with exposure to payroll and training
Strong knowledge of Malaysian statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) and Employment Act
Experience in organizing training programs and employee development initiatives
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Experience in multi-branch or multi-entity organizations
