Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
-Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from crafting compelling job descriptions and sourcing top-tier candidates to conducting interviews and negotiating offers.
-Strengthen our employer brand to attract and retain high-caliber talent.
-Design and oversee a seamless onboarding experience that integrates new hires into our culture and sets them up for success from day one.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
-Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, fostering an open-door policy and providing expert guidance on workplace matters.
-Foster a positive work environment through engagement initiatives, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
-Conduct insightful exit interviews and analyze trends to identify retention risks and drive continuous improvement.
Performance Management:
-Lead the performance review cycle, including quarterly check-ins, and annual KPI evaluations.
-Coach managers on how to handle performance issues, navigate difficult conversations, and handle disciplinary actions in line with best practices.
Compensation & Benefits:
-Administer and optimize benefits programs (e.g., health insurance, leave, etc.), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
-Conduct market research to maintain competitive salary bands and compensation structures.
Policy & Compliance:
-Develop, implement, and continuously update HR policies and the employee handbook to reflect current employment laws and organizational values.
-Ensure full organizational compliance with all federal, state, and local employment regulations, mitigating risk for the company.
-Maintain accurate employee records and HRMS data.
HR Strategy:
-Work closely with Owner Committee Team (OCT) to align HR strategies with overarching business goals and objectives.
-Analyze HR metrics (turnover, time-to-hire, etc.) to propose data-driven improvements.
Requirements (Qualifications)
Education & Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
-Minimum 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, demonstrating increasing responsibility and proven track record in a generalist capacity.
Skills & Competencies:
-HR Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Malaysian labor law and current HR best practices.
-Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in an additional language is a valuable bonus.
-Discretion & Integrity: Proven ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and sound judgement.
-Leadership & Influence: Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to influence decision-making and build trusts at all levels, from new hires to senior leadership.
-Tech Proficiency: Comfortable working with HRMS systems (e.g., SQL) and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
-Organization: Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
