Job Summary:
As an HR Manager at Lee’s Fandbee, you will lead the full spectrum of HR functions — from building strong teams through recruitment to ensuring seamless payroll, employee relations, and compliance. You will play a key role in shaping a high-performing workforce that supports our mission of delivering affordable, quality food to every community.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and compliance.
Ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations across all business units (outlets, warehouse, HQ).
Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, and hiring.
Develop effective hiring strategies to support business expansion and manpower planning.
Work closely with hiring managers to fulfil workforce requirements in a timely manner.
Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Manage employee records, leave administration, and HR systems.
Ensure proper documentation and HR operational efficiency.
Serve as the main point of contact for employee concerns, disciplinary matters, and grievances.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work culture.
Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Ensure all HR practices comply with Malaysian labor laws and statutory requirements.
Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
Handle audits and ensure proper HR governance.
Implement and monitor performance management frameworks (KPIs, appraisals).
Support managers in performance reviews and employee development plans.
Identify training needs and drive learning initiatives.
Partner with management to align HR strategies with business goals.
Analyze HR metrics and provide actionable insights.
Lead HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
Proven experience handling full-spectrum HR functions (recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and compliance).
Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and HR best practices.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Hands-on, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in FMCG / F&B / Distribution / Retail operations.
Experience supporting multi-outlet or high-volume hiring environments.
Familiarity with HR systems and payroll processes.
