Key Responsibilities
1. Business Partnership
Serve as the primary HR point of contact for assigned business entities, providing day-to-day HR advisory and support
Build strong understanding of site operations and workforce requirements to align HR initiatives with business needs
Support leaders in workforce planning, organisational changes, and manpower forecasting
Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and engagement matters
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Coordinate with Group Talent Acquisition on recruitment activities for assigned sites
Support manpower planning discussions to ensure timely hiring and smooth onboarding
Assist in interview coordination, candidate evaluation, and hiring decisions
Facilitate structured onboarding and integration of new hires into the business
3. Performance, Talent & Development
Support implementation of performance management cycles, talent reviews, and learning initiatives
Partner with business leaders to identify training and development needs
Assist in career development planning and succession discussions
4. Rewards, Payroll & HR Operations
Liaise with Shared Services for payroll processing, employee movements, and benefits administration
Support Compensation & Benefits initiatives including rewards and recognition programs
Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and statutory requirements, escalating issues when necessary
5. Employee Engagement & Culture
Support execution of employee engagement initiatives aligned with Group HR strategy
Assist in rolling out culture-building programs in collaboration with COEs
Collect engagement feedback, analyse trends, and support action planning for improvements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5–7 years of HR experience, preferably in HRBP, employee relations, or industrial/site HR roles
Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices
Experience in employee relations, disciplinary management, absenteeism, and grievance handling
Exposure to foreign worker management and Employment Pass (EP) processes is preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities with high attention to detail and fairness
