Job Description:
Responsible in end-to-end payroll administration for all employees, ensuring the precise and timely processing of monthly salaries, overtime, bonuses, allowances, and statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, EIS).
Serve as the primary liaison with government authorities (EPF, SOCSO, LHDN, HRD Corp) to guarantee accurate and compliant monthly statutory submissions and reporting.
Meticulously review and validate timesheets, leave applications, and attendance data to maintain the highest standard of accuracy in payroll calculations.
Contribute to annual financial audits, year-end tax filings (EA Forms, E Forms), and other periodic statutory requirements.
Maintain impeccable and confidential payroll records, ensuring all employee data is current and systematically organized within the HR information system.
Proactively address and resolve payroll-related inquiries or discrepancies with efficiency and professionalism, ensuring clear communication with employees.
Provide comprehensive administrative support for HR functions, including the meticulous upkeep of employee personal files and records.
Facilitate the performance management cycle by coordinating the preparation and distribution of appraisal documents.
Provide flexible support and expertly manage additional ad-hoc tasks and projects as directed by management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Compensation & Benefits and/or HR Operations.
Expertise in compensation structures, benefits administration, and market benchmarking.
Familiar with HR policies, governance, and compliance requirements.
Experience handling HR systems and modules (e.g. claims management, HR e-Doc or HRIS).
Good coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple business entities.
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to meet tight timelines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, EPF, SOCSO, and tax regulations.
