Indirect Commodity Manager (Facility, Construction & Infrastructure Management)

Initiate, develop and implement business strategy for the assigned commodity field.

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to identify cost reduction opportunities

Define negotiation roadmap. Negotiate commercial and legal terms and conditions of contracts

Take lead on market intelligence to lead key supplier negotiations

Serve as a leader and subject matter expert for multiple procurement- and business-led projects and initiatives.

Ensure participation and optimization of strategic preferred suppliers

Create, manage, measure, and improve appropriate reporting metrics and data analysis for indirect commodities

Manage supply base and supplier relationships on a local and regional level; develop new supply sources as needed

Build, create and test new processes and systems to support spend visibility and process compliance.

Communicate strategies and solutions to colleagues, internal customers and suppliers in order to achieve financial goals, RFQ timelines and liaise between internal and external.

Prepare and send RFQ/RFIs for commodity projects; obtain quotes, examine bids, grants awards and contracts

Perform financial analysis of RFQ results to determine overall cost competitiveness and make sourcing recommendations based upon RFI and RFQ results
