About the Role
The Inside Sales Account Manager (ISAM) is responsible for managing and supporting global inbound or outbound accounts while collaborating closely with regional and global managers to execute account strategies. This role acts as the key point of contact for assigned accounts, driving business growth, delivering a strong customer experience, and ensuring adherence to company programs and standards.
Depending on business needs, the ISAM may operate as:
Inbound ISAM: Lead for all customer requests, executing end-to-end global account strategy
Outbound ISAM: Supporting global/regional account managers to deploy strategies and coordinate with country teams
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Growth
Build strong customer relationships and engage stakeholders across procurement and senior management
Drive revenue growth and maximize share of wallet within assigned accounts
Deal & Pipeline Management
Manage end-to-end deal cycles including pricing, negotiation, and closure
Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting
Account Strategy & Planning
Support account planning, customer profiling, and opportunity management
Contribute to business analysis and growth strategies
RFP & Bid Support
Assist in global RFP processes and standardization efforts
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with delivery, operations, and country teams
Ensure seamless handover from pre-sales to post-sales
Customer Experience & Post-Sales
Support QBRs and maintain strong customer satisfaction
Address post-sales queries and ensure smooth service delivery
Tools & Insights
Leverage CRM tools and internal systems for reporting, insights, and account expansion
Required Skill Sets
Ability to manage and grow customer accounts remotely
Strong stakeholder engagement skills (including senior leadership)
Solid understanding of sales cycles, deal processes, pricing, and profitability
Experience managing pipeline, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities
Exposure to RFP and bid processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in account planning, forecasting, and QBRs
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams globally
Strong communication and presentation skills
Language Requirement:
Native-level proficiency in Japanese (written and spoken) is mandatory
Technical Skills:
Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar)
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
