Requirements

Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Proficiency in interior design principles, space planning, and furniture selection for retail showrooms
Demonstrated ability to manage interior design projects from concept to completion, adhering to timelines and budgets.
Able to communicate well, with the ability to understand client needs and present design solutions effectively.
Fluency in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
Familiarity with relevant software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Good understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices.
Ability to source and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings for interior spaces.
Capable of preparing detailed design drawings, specifications, and presentations.
Willingness to work onsite in Petaling Jaya and collaborate with a team of designers and suppliers for product selections
Responsibilities

Assist senior designers in developing and executing interior design concepts, ensuring alignment with client needs and project goals.
Create detailed space plans and furniture layouts using AutoCAD and other design software, optimizing functionality and aesthetics.
Source and select appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) based on project requirements, budget, and design specifications.
Prepare presentations and mood boards to communicate design ideas to clients and project stakeholders, incorporating feedback and revisions as needed.
Manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other project team members to ensure seamless execution of design plans.
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and monitor construction progress, identifying and resolving any design-related issues.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design solutions and provide innovative recommendations.
Support the project team in managing project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Communicate effectively with clients in both English and Mandarin to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
