Key Responsibilities
A. Commercial Design Leadership
Lead design direction for commercial projects (office, retail, F&B, etc.).
Translate business objectives and brand identity into functional, compelling spaces.
Set design standards, workflows, and quality benchmarks for commercial work.
B. Client & Stakeholder Management
Lead client meetings, presentations, and design approvals.
Manage client expectations, budgets, and timelines professionally.
Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
C. Design Development & Presentation
Oversee preparation of space planning, 2D drawings, 3D visuals, renderings, and mock-ups.
Review and approve design outputs to ensure commercial feasibility and buildability.
Ensure designs comply with regulations and commercial requirements.
D. Commercial Quotation & Workflow
Prepare and review commercial quotations and proposals.
Ensure smooth handover from design to project execution teams.
Support business development by contributing design ideas during pitching stages.
E. Team & Knowledge Growth
Stay updated on commercial design trends, materials, and sustainability practices.
Mentor junior designers where applicable.
Support expansion of the commercial design portfolio.
Requirements
Degree in Interior Design / Architecture or equivalent
Minimum 2–3 years experience, preferably with commercial exposure
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Coohom, Adobe Suite
Strong presentation, client-facing, and leadership skills
