Requirements

Open to last semester Diploma/Degree students in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Drafting, or related field.
Internship duration: Minimum 3 months and above.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/SolidWorks or other drafting software.
Detail-oriented with strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and in a team environment.
Willing to learn and adapt to industry practices.
Responsibilities

Seating Spectrum Sdn Bhd is offering an internship opportunity for final-year students to gain hands-on drafting and design experience in the furniture/seating industry. As an Intern Drafter, you will work closely with the design and production team to prepare technical drawings, layouts, and documentation that support real industry projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and assist in developing 2D/3D technical drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other drafting software.
Support engineers and designers in producing detailed layouts for production.
Revise and update drawings based on supervisor or client feedback.
Ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency with company drafting standards.
Assist in documentation and proper filing of technical drawings.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth design-to-manufacturing processes.
