Key Responsibilities:
Business Development Admin
•Sales & Buyback Reports – Prepare daily and monthly reports for sales and buybacks (including GAP, PG, non-PG, pajak, Tekun, koperasi tentera, silver) for management review.
•Buyback Processing – Handle rejected buybacks, check customer/3rd party info (NRIC, bank details), group buybacks by customer, and verify foreign bank info.
•System & Reporting Support – Export system reports (GSAP, buyback), check payment details for finance, and upload dealer commissions.
•Branch & Internal Support – Help branches with order changes, staff pricing, dealer upgrades, cancellations, and general customer enquiries.
•Logistics & Admin – Handle material orders (plastics, receipts, etc.), check JA parent info, and support with admin work.
Business Development
•Assist in day-to-day operations of branch activities and retail service delivery.
•Support business development initiatives and strategic campaigns across assigned branches.
•Help coordinate appointments, walk-in customers, and service inquiries at selected branches.
•Monitor customer feedback and compile reports to support service improvement efforts.
•Participate in planning, preparation, and execution of branch events and promotional activities.
•Assist in preparing business proposals, internal memos, and operational documents.
•Liaise with other departments such as marketing, logistics, and finance for inter-branch coordination.
•Support branch audit readiness, compliance reviews, and operational checklists.
•Undertake any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor or branch management.
Business Operation
•Oversee daily gold buy-back operations across all branches and subsidiaries.
•Manage gold buy-back transactions, valuations, and inventory.
•Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
•Coordinate with finance and branch heads for collection schedules, settlements, and reporting.
•Monitor processes, identify improvements, and support audits.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a min Degree in a retail management, linguistic, logistic, admin, and other relevant field.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willing to learn, proactive, and responsible
Able to work independently as well as in a team
Basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)
Positive attitude and good work discipline
Able to start in April/ May intake preferred
High-performing interns may be converted to full-time employees, with no probation required.
