Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
To assist senior chefs in the daily preparation and production of food items within a professional kitchen environment, maintain kitchen cleanliness and organisation, and adhere to food safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Clean and prepare all basic food items for cooking
- Help to prepare daily mise-en-place
- Assist in cooking and food presentation
- Pick up food orders.
- Keep the work area clean and tidy
- Adhere strictly to safety and sanitation regulations.
- The Commis is also required to cook a specified range of meat, poultry, fish, soups and vegetable, including cold food according to the requirements of the menu and recipe.
- Able to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, with adequate time-off arrangements.

BASIC QUALIFICATION

- Minimum 1 year of culinary experience
- Ability to speak English
- Should know and follow the basic hygiene & sanitation regulation
