Full job description
ResponsibilitiesTeam Supervision & Coordination
Supervise, lead, and coordinate store and logistics team members to ensure daily operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company policies and SOPs.
Assign daily tasks, monitor work progress, and ensure team members perform their duties within the required timeline and quality standards.
Provide guidance, on-the-job coaching, and basic training to team members to improve productivity, accuracy, and work quality.
Monitor team performance and discipline, and report performance issues, manpower needs, or operational challenges to the Logistics Chief.
Foster teamwork, effective communication, and compliance with workplace safety rules and operational procedures.
Store & Logistics Operations
Coordinate, supervise, and support store and logistics operations to ensure smooth daily activities.
Receive incoming stock from containers and ensure proper arrangement on pallets and designated storage areas.
Organize and maintain stock on shelves systematically to ensure easy accessibility and efficient retrieval.
Oversee packaging and labeling of products in accordance with established SOPs and product specifications.
Ensure products are properly prepared, packed, and inspected prior to dispatch or internal requests.
Conduct Quality Control (QC) checks on packaged products to ensure accuracy, quantity, and quality standards are met.
Inventory & Asset Management
Monitor inventory levels and ensure sufficient stock availability to support daily operational requirements.
Report low stock levels, discrepancies, damages, or operational issues promptly to the Logistics Chief.
Participate in and assist with monthly stock counts to ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date.
Ensure packaging materials, equipment, tools, and consumables are adequately stocked and in good working condition.
Ensure proper handling, usage, and care of company assets within the logistics and warehouse areas.
Housekeeping & Safety
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the warehouse and logistics areas at all times.
Ensure unused electrical equipment and machinery are switched off after use to promote energy efficiency and safety.
Other Duties
Perform other logistics-related duties as assigned by superior from time to time in support of departmental objectives.
Qualifications
Minimum Diploma holder or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
Preferably at least 2 years of working experience in logistics, warehouse, inventory, or related roles.
Physically fit and capable of lifting and handling heavy items as required.
Able to read, understand, and follow instructions, SOPs, and task lists accurately.
Prior experience in warehouse operations, stock handling, or inventory control will be an added advantage.
Possess good teamwork, time management, communication, and basic supervisory skills.
