Logistics Assistant (Steel & Rebar Trading)

1. Manage full delivery process for steel rebar orders. Coordinate and liaise with third‑party transporters and lorry drivers. Confirm vehicle arrangement & loading schedule. Check item specification & quantity during loading.

2. Track shipment status from warehouse to customer site. Confirm goods arrival and collect signed Delivery Order (DO). File all signed DOs properly.

3. Prepare & verify delivery documents (Delivery Order, packing list). Maintain daily shipment log: customer info, rebar specification, weight, lorry plate number, driver, departure & arrival time, DO status.

4. Handle delivery issues such as delay, traffic problem, unloading damage. Communicate with driver & customer, escalate to supervisor timely.

5. Prepare daily delivery report, keep record of freight cost, assist finance for transporter billing reconciliation.

6. Co‑ordinate with warehouse team to verify outbound goods. Support periodic stock check.

7. Maintain transporter & driver contact list, record freight rate for different routes. Perform other ad‑hoc logistics & admin tasks assigned by superior.
