Lorry Driver (Backup)

Guidance Tasks (when assigned):
-Operate trucks for delivery and collection of goods from warehouses to retail stores.
-Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure the loading and unloading of goods is done accurately and on time.
-Carry out vehicle inspections on a daily basis and report any maintenance needs.
-Ensuring the truck is well managed and safe as the company's asset.
-Ensure that all cargo is loaded safely and carefully controlled to avoid damage.
-Maintain the delivery schedule and ensure the arrival and delivery is made on time.
-Keep accurate records related to shipping, travel distance, oil usage, and any incidents.
-Comply with all road safety regulations and company transportation policies.
-Assisting warehouse staff in basic loading/loading or stock movement if needed.

Warehouse Duties (if not driving):
-Assist in loading and unloading goods.
-Carrying out the work of picking, packaging, labeling, and inventory preparation.
-Carry out stock inspection and inventory calculation periodically.
-Ensure the warehouse area is always clean, organized, and free from danger.
-Help to receive and check incoming goods to ensure accuracy and quality.
-Provide support to other warehouse operations as directed by the supervisor.

Eligibility:
-Have a valid GDL (Goods Driving License) and a class E driving license (or equivalent according to local requirements).
-At least 1-2 years of driving experience, preferably in warehouse or logistics environment.
-Proficient with local routes and highway laws.
-Healthy body and able to lift heavy items.
-Responsible, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
-Have basic communication skills in Malaysian and English.
