Machine Operator (Flatbed Digital Cutting / Die Cutter)

Key responsibilities
Set up the flatbed digital cutting machine for each job (materials, tools, cutting parameters)

Load sheets / materials onto the table and unload finished parts safely

Monitor the cutting process, making simple adjustments to maintain speed and quality

Perform regular quality checks on cut parts and correct defects (size, edge, finish)

Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication and minor maintenance / adjustments

Help troubleshoot basic machine and software issues to reduce downtime

Record production data and tooling usage. Support training of assistants when required

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area

Requirements
Experience operating a flatbed die cutter, CNC router, digital cutter, printing or similar production machine

Able to use basic computer / machine software, follow technical instructions and read simple drawings or job tickets

Mechanical aptitude: comfortable with tools, adjustments and basic fault‑finding

Good eye for detail and quality, able to spot and correct common defects

Problem‑solving mindset and willingness to learn new machine features and software

Strong safety awareness and ability to follow standard operating procedures
