MAINTENANCE ENGINEER INTERN

Responsibilities:
Assist in monitoring daily operations and basic maintenance activities at the Vico plant.

Support the team in troubleshooting minor breakdowns and reporting issues during shifts.

Assist in identifying root causes of machine issues under supervision.

Support improvement initiatives to enhance equipment productivity, efficiency, and yield.

Assist in preventive maintenance and basic machine servicing activities.

Help ensure machines are running safely and efficiently to minimize downtime.

Support in machine setup and adjustment to achieve optimal performance.

Assist in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety requirements.

Support in ensuring instruments and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.

Participate in improvement projects and support production team for smooth operations.

Comply with safety, health, and food safety regulations (HACCP, ISO, Halal, etc.).

Assist in documentation, reporting, and record-keeping tasks.

Learn and apply basic mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.

Maintain proper housekeeping and follow company rules and regulations at all times.

Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering or related field

Basic understanding of machinery, maintenance, or engineering concepts

Willing to learn and hands-on in a manufacturing environment

Good attitude, responsible, and able to work in a team

Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English

Willing to be based in Butterworth
