Maintenance Manager

Job Description
-Oversee daily maintenance operations throughout the resort, including guestrooms, public areas, recreational facilities, and back-of-house areas;
-Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems;
-Ensure all facilities comply with safety, regulatory, and operational standards.
-Lead, motivate, and supervise the maintenance team, including technicians and external contractors;
-Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and extend asset lifespan;
-Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts;
-Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, including cost control and vendor management;
-Respond promptly to emergencies, breakdowns, and guest maintenance requests;
-Maintain maintenance reports, inspection records, and compliance documentation;
-Support renovation, refurbishment, and improvement projects within the resort;
-Any other duties or ad hoc tasks assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements
-Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Facilities Management, Building Services, or related field.
-Minimum 5 years’ experience in building or facilities maintenance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
-Experience in hospitality, resort, or hotel maintenance is strongly preferred.
-Possess strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
-Chargeman BO or relevant certification is an added advantage.
-Good leadership, proactive, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Able to work under pressure, multitask, and respond to emergencies when required.
-Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
