Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager, Group Risk Management & Sustainability to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise risk management (ERM) and sustainability initiatives across the Group. This role is critical in ensuring effective risk governance while advancing the organization’s sustainability agenda in alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Management
Develop, implement, and maintain the Group’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, policies, and procedures
Identify, assess, and monitor key risks across business units, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place
Facilitate risk assessments, risk registers, and reporting to senior management and Board-level committees
Drive a strong risk awareness culture across the organization
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk policies
Sustainability (ESG)
Lead the development and execution of the Group’s sustainability strategy and initiatives (Environmental, Social & Governance – ESG)
Prepare sustainability reports in accordance with relevant frameworks (e.g., Bursa Malaysia, GRI, etc.)
Monitor ESG metrics, performance, and disclosures to ensure transparency and accountability
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate sustainability into business operations and decision-making
Keep abreast of emerging sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices
Governance & Reporting
Prepare risk and sustainability reports for management, Board, and external stakeholders
Support internal and external audits related to risk and sustainability
Liaise with regulators, consultants, and relevant external parties when required
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Environmental Studies, or related field
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in risk management, sustainability/ESG, or governance roles
Strong knowledge of ERM frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and ESG reporting standards
Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia sustainability reporting requirements is an added advantage
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Professional certifications such as CRM, FRM, CFA, or Sustainability/ESG-related certifications
Experience in group-level or multi-entity organizations
