MARINE OPERATION ASSISTANT - Kuala Pahang

-Communicate with Marine Team Management, Project Manager, Site and Shipyard Supervisors, and the Technical Team regarding vessel operations, management, breakdowns, and other related matters.
-Manage the application process for boat licenses, including document preparation and submission, vessel readiness, attending inspections, and addressing findings or deficiencies issued by the Malaysia Marine Department.
-Conduct Flag State Control (FSC) and Port State Control (PSC) inspections, liaising with FSCO/PSCO officers and coordinating follow-up actions, including preparation of vessel documentation and physical readiness.
-Liaise with charterers and the Kemaman Quarry person-in-charge on armour rock loading/unloading progress and berthing schedules.
-Coordinate tug and barge movements at the project site, including departures and arrivals at MRCB Project, Kemaman Quarry, and Kuala Pahang Shipyard.
Attend surveys and inspections conducted by authorities, ship classification surveyors, or other relevant -parties as arranged by Marine Team HQ.
-Oversee vessel safety equipment servicing conducted by Keisha Marine Services Sdn. Bhd. or other authorized contractors approved by Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia.
-Monitor tugboat crew performance to ensure they are fit for duty and comply with instructions from the site supervisor.
-Attend tugboat sea trials to monitor performance and prepare reports.
