What You’ll Do
Master Data Governance
Define, implement, and enforce master data standards to ensure consistency, accuracy, and integrity across ERP, CRM, and related systems.
Eliminate redundancy and prevent data quality issues before they impact reporting or operations.
Business Intelligence & Analytics
Design, build, and maintain intuitive, automated dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI.
Translate raw data into clear, compelling visuals that tell a business story.
Design and maintain Power BI semantic models as a single source of truth for enterprise reporting.
Define standardized business measures, KPIs, and calculations (DAX) to prevent metric duplication across reports.
Enable governed self-service BI through shared and certified datasets within Microsoft Fabric.
Optimize report and model performance to balance usability, scalability, and Fabric capacity consumption.
Data Preparation & ETL
Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources, turning messy, fragmented datasets into analysis-ready assets.
Validate and reconcile data to ensure trust in reporting outputs.
Design and manage Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Warehouse structures to support analytical workloads.
Utilize Fabric Data Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and notebooks where appropriate to ingest and transform data.
Monitor data refreshes, schema changes, and lineage to ensure reliable downstream reporting.
Cross-Functional Partnership
Work directly with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and other departments to understand KPIs and reporting needs.
Deliver custom analytics solutions that align with business priorities and decision-making workflows.
System Integration & Data Flow Monitoring
Oversee data movement between systems, identifying and resolving gaps, errors, or synchronization issues.
Partner with IT to improve scalability, reliability, and performance of data pipelines.
Training & Enablement
Serve as the organization’s internal data champion, educating teams on BI tools, dashboards, and data governance best practices.
Empower users to confidently interpret and act on data.
Establish best practices for Power BI report development, dataset reuse, and workspace governance in Fabric.
Act as a change agent driving adoption of Fabric as the organization’s single analytics platform.
Job Requirements
Technical Expertise
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
BI Tools: Strong proficiency in Power BI (including DAX and Power Query); Others BI Tool experience is a plus.
Data & Databases: Advanced SQL skills with a solid understanding of relational database design and architecture.
Modern Data Platforms: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, semantic models, and workspace governance.
Data Modelling: Strong understanding of dimensional modelling (star schema) for analytics.
Cost & Performance: Awareness of capacity management, refresh optimization, and model efficiency in Fabric.
Excel: Advanced capabilities, including Pivot Tables, Macros, and complex lookup functions for ad-hoc analysis.
