Mechanic - (Suzuki Cars-Penang Service Center)

About the role

To conduct maintenance service on Suzuki Cars including repairing or replacing faulty parts and components, and performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure vehicle systems and components function properly.

Key responsibilities

Conduct maintenance service and repairs on Suzuki Cars

Repair or replace faulty parts/components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and electrical systems

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements

Understand and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and specifications provided by Suzuki

Provide customers with detailed explanations and recommendations regarding necessary repairs or maintenance

Test vehicle systems and components to ensure proper functionality and performance

Ensure repairs and maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations

Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and waste disposal

Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and diagnostic findings

Collaborate with other technicians, service advisors, and parts specialists to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction

About you

Minimum Certificate/Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/SKM or equivalent in automotive

Able to carry out vehicle repair and servicing independently with minimal supervision
