Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and strategise product evaluability at retail outlets, including conducting product surveys, market research, and recommending seasonal products for festive periods.

Ensure full compliance with company standards on product quality, pricing, and profit margins.

Lead monthly price negotiations with local suppliers to achieve optimal cost efficiency.

Forecast stock requirements for 3 months to maintain sufficient inventory levels at retail outlets.

Ensure merchandising efforts achieve targeted margin percentages in line with company forecasts.

Coordinate with the Retail Operations team on product disposals, weekly markdowns, clearance activities, and the handling of near-expiry items.

Monitor stock availability across all SKUs, with a focus on top-performing items.

Conduct monthly follow-ups on price surveys and stock availability to maintain competitiveness and operational readiness.

Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external partners.

Perform any other ad hoc tasks as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent field.

3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in the retail or supermarket industry.

Proficient in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional language proficiency is an added advantage.

Proven ability to consistently deliver results and exceed expectations across all responsibilities.

Strong strategic mindset with experience in developing and executing business plans to meet organisational objectives in competitive markets.

Demonstrates solid leadership capabilities with the ability to lead, influence, and motivate teams effectively.

Excellent planning and negotiation skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to foster teamwork and collaboration.

Sound business acumen with sharp analytical and research skills, complemented by a customer-centric mindset.

Effective communicator with the ability to interact confidently across all organisational levels.

Highly independent yet a collaborative team player.

Strong problem-solving skills and capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, unstructured environment.
