Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing inventory planning system – to analyse and track the customer order changes against the plan, and in anticipation of inventory risk and plan
To communicate to all sites to meet business goals
Generate weekly global E*O Inventory data for all sites – identify early opportunity for the disposition and early initialization of inventory transfer to demand facility
Manage the global Excess, Dead & Slow inventories with the close collaboration with the Accounts- Claim recoverable team to mitigate the inventory exposure
To upkeep and maintain the record and assessment of all global site Inventory level against the weekly GDP /MPP/MPS changes
To Drive for improvement processes and systems – Inventory Reduction program to maximize working capital
To monitor and analyse level of demand loading and change against the planning horizon LT to anticipate any risk in future supply need.
Educational/Certification Requirement: List both minimum and preferred educational requirements.
At least 6 years' demonstrated experience in relevant semi-conductor industry
Experience Requirement:
Have a good depth of understanding of MRP and inventory control system and ERP
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Possess strong verbal and written communication skill for the demanding and dynamic and customer focused working environment.
Possess the ability to work productively and effectively with initiative to drive across all global sites to meet business goals.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Application and ERP system
Effective leadership skills: The manager needs strong leadership skills to carry out recruiting and hiring; resolving conflicts, and keeping the people motivated enough to work effectively
Critical thinking skills: He/she must be able to come up with revolutionary ideas for the company’s growth
Organization skills: The inventory control manager must be able to organize his/her team, schedules, and inventories to ensure efficiency in work delivery
Computer skills: The inventory manager must be able to work with basic computer applications like Microsoft office
He/she should have excellent analytical skills to joggle several contending issues and come up with the best decisions
Excellent logistical skills to be able to track movement of supplies from the supplier to the warehouse
Ability to work under pressure and still maintain ideal disposition towards work
