Mgr Logistics

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Identifying and implementing improvements in logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs and work with global logistics team.

Ensuring all logistics activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and quality standards.

Evaluate the performance of the forwarders and implement improvements.

Make critical decision and liaise with forwarder/purchaser/planner/warehouse/program to ensure smooth transaction for inbound shipment.

Liaising with freight forwarders closely to resolve outgoing shipment delays, discrepancies & damage.

Ensure that goods are delivered on time

Maintain accurate filing system for all order related and shipping status documentations for internal & external audit purpose.

Other ad-hoc shipping duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics or equivalent

Experience Requirement:

Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant logistics experience in manufacturing industry

Able to work in multi-tasking and minimum supervision

Good knowledge in Microsoft office (word and excel)
