Optometrist

Responsibilities:

Perform all relevant eye tests (eg. refraction, instrumental eye tests, etc) deemed necessary by HOD/doctor

Provide patient education ie. Consultation

Provide patient care ie. attend to patients’ needs/requests

Manage patient complaints

Surgery planning & scheduling

Administrative work

a. Paperwork eg. consultation/followup/eye tests notes, etc.

b. Patient follow-up

c. Statistic and Reports

d. Housekeeping of certain work areas assigned by HOD

Roles on surgery/OT days

a. Surgery Opto

b. Surgery Coordinator

c. Laser Technician

d. OT Assistant

Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Optometry is a must
