Procurement Executive

What you'll be doing

Source and negotiate with local & overseas suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing, terms, and conditions.

Issue purchase orders, monitor order status, and follow up on deliveries of produce like fresh fruits and vegetables.

Maintain and update the procurement database and supplier records.

To collaborate with the Marketing and Sales departments to understand and fulfill procurement needs.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Prepare and provide regular procurement reports and analyses where necessary.

Conduct local and overseas farm visits, attend exhibitions, and undertake business travel as required.

Any ad hoc and related task being assigned by the Superior from time to time



What we're looking for

Minimum Diploma with 2 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in FMCG or related field.

Good negotiation and communication skills.

The ability to converse in English, Malay and Mandarin languages. Proficiency in Cantonese / Mandarin is preferred. "We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking overseas clients effectively."

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite and related software.

Knowledge of procurement regulations, policies, and best practices.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
