Production Engineer

Responsiblities :-

Oversees and direct production operations, coordinate production staff and equipment, ensure the quality and profitability of products.

To assist Production Manager on handling all issue related to production planning.

To supervise & ensure that the production plans are executed as planned

To analyze job orders and develop the production schedule with the Production Manager.

To ensure the procurement of raw materials/product is requested in a timely manner to avoid delay in production/shipment.

Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, and milling.

Design tooling and fixture according to required machining processes

Responsible for process determination & process improvement for CNC machining.

Workout for the cutting plan and maximize the plate usage.

Ordering for all raw material and casting material etc: Digester & Screw Press

Must be able to read and understand technical engineering drawing, able to carry out material take off and understand material specification.

Supervise, monitor the progress of work and motivate a team of production floor workers such as welders, machinists, metal cutters, etc in steel fabrication factory.

Ensure hand tools and equipment are operated correctly to avoid injuries at work.

Compliance to DOSH regulation in production floor.



Requirements:

Minimum Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Steel Fabrication or related qualifications.

At least five year of work experience in CNC machining and steel fabrication industry.

Experience in directing and supervising production personals, able to lead a team of workers to achieve production targets and minimize wastage.

Good organizational and analytical skill to ensure work processes carried out by subordinates are efficient and effective.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Ability to understand cost containment and budgetary principles.

Willing to work in Sungai Pelek, Sepang
